Terms Used In Idaho Code 19-2028
- Defendant: In a civil suit, the person complained against; in a criminal case, the person accused of the crime.
- Juror: A person who is on the jury.
All challenges to an individual juror, except peremptory, must be taken, first by the people, and then by the defendant, and each party must exhaust all his challenges for cause before the other begins.
