Terms Used In Idaho Code 26-2414

  • Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
Unless otherwise provided in the articles of incorporation, the period of duration of the corporation shall be perpetual, subject, however, to the right of the stockholders and the members to dissolve the corporation prior to the expiration of said period as provided in section 26-2415.
