  • Mortgage: The written agreement pledging property to a creditor as collateral for a loan.
  • Mortgage loan: A loan made by a lender to a borrower for the financing of real property. Source: OCC
  • Person: means a natural person, corporation, company, limited liability company, partnership or association. See Idaho Code 26-31-102
Any person, not exempt under the provisions of this part, who engages in mortgage loan origination activities without first obtaining a mortgage loan originator license or without first registering as a mortgage loan originator in accordance with the requirements of this part, shall be guilty of a felony.
