  • Conviction: A judgement of guilt against a criminal defendant.
  • State: when applied to the different parts of the United States, includes the District of Columbia and the territories; and the words "United States" may include the District of Columbia and territories. See Idaho Code 73-114
If the state treasurer shall willfully fail or refuse at any time to do or perform any act required of him by the state depository law, he shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof, he shall be sentenced to pay a fine not exceeding $5000.
