Terms Used In Illinois Compiled Statutes 20 ILCS 105/6.04

  • State: when applied to different parts of the United States, may be construed to include the District of Columbia and the several territories, and the words "United States" may be construed to include the said district and territories. See Illinois Compiled Statutes 5 ILCS 70/1.14
     Before entering upon the discharge of the duties of the office, the Director shall give bond, with security to be approved by the Governor, in such penal sum as shall be fixed by the Governor, not less than $10,000, conditioned for the faithful performance of his duties, which bond shall be filed in the office of the Secretary of State.
