  • Damages: Money paid by defendants to successful plaintiffs in civil cases to compensate the plaintiffs for their injuries.
  • State: when applied to different parts of the United States, may be construed to include the District of Columbia and the several territories, and the words "United States" may be construed to include the said district and territories. See Illinois Compiled Statutes 5 ILCS 70/1.14
     Every program coordinator authorized by the Director to supervise a training program organized under this Act shall be covered by a liability insurance policy which protects him from liability for damages arising during any time he is engaged in the operation of his official duties. The cost of such a program coordinator’s liability insurance policy shall be paid by the State of Illinois and shall be a charge on the Wildlife and Fish Fund.
