Terms Used In Illinois Compiled Statutes 225 ILCS 710/6.01

  • Month: means a calendar month, and the word "year" a calendar year unless otherwise expressed; and the word "year" alone, is equivalent to the expression "year of our Lord. See Illinois Compiled Statutes 5 ILCS 70/1.10
  • State: when applied to different parts of the United States, may be construed to include the District of Columbia and the several territories, and the words "United States" may be construed to include the said district and territories. See Illinois Compiled Statutes 5 ILCS 70/1.14
     It is hereby the duty of the operator of each mine to forward to the Department of Natural Resources, not later than the 15th day of each month a report in writing on a form supplied by the Department of Natural Resources, showing for the preceding calendar month the tonnage of product, the average number of people employed, and the number and nature of fatal and all other accidents. All such reports shall be filed in and become a part of the records of the Department of Natural Resources. Blank forms for such reports shall be furnished by the State.
