  • Common law: The legal system that originated in England and is now in use in the United States. It is based on judicial decisions rather than legislative action.
  • Trustee: A person or institution holding and administering property in trust.
     If applicant is a common law or business trust, the names and addresses of each trustee and of all beneficiaries in the trust and names of persons to be engaged in the management or active participation in the conduct of the business shall be stated.
