If applicant is under direct or indirect common control with, or is controlled by any other person, partnership, corporation or other entity the application shall state:
     a. Name of such controlling or affiliated party or parties:

Terms Used In Illinois Compiled Statutes 240 ILCS 5/9

  • Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
  • Partnership: A voluntary contract between two or more persons to pool some or all of their assets into a business, with the agreement that there will be a proportional sharing of profits and losses.
  • State: when applied to different parts of the United States, may be construed to include the District of Columbia and the several territories, and the words "United States" may be construed to include the said district and territories. See Illinois Compiled Statutes 5 ILCS 70/1.14
