  • Fiscal year: The fiscal year is the accounting period for the government. For the federal government, this begins on October 1 and ends on September 30. The fiscal year is designated by the calendar year in which it ends; for example, fiscal year 2006 begins on October 1, 2005 and ends on September 30, 2006.
     The Department of Human Services shall, as part of the fiscal year 2024 Drug Overdose Prevention Program, make all FDA-approved formulations of naloxone that are cleared through the Minnesota Multistate Contracting Alliance for Pharmacy, and for which the manufacturer can set up a system for receiving, tracking, and distribution, available to eligible Drug Overdose Prevention Program participants and applicants.
