Remittances from intermediary agencies under Title XVIII of the Federal Social Security Act for services to persons in State facilities shall be deposited with the State Treasurer and placed in the Mental Health Fund. Payments received from the Department of Healthcare and Family Services under Title XIX of the Federal Social Security Act for services to persons in State facilities shall be deposited with the State Treasurer and shall be placed in the General Revenue Fund.
     The Auditor General shall audit or cause to be audited all amounts collected by the Department.
