Terms Used In Illinois Compiled Statutes 5 ILCS 460/35

  • State: when applied to different parts of the United States, may be construed to include the District of Columbia and the several territories, and the words "United States" may be construed to include the said district and territories. See Illinois Compiled Statutes 5 ILCS 70/1.14
     The song “Illinois”, words written by C. H. Chamberlain and music composed by Archibald Johnston, is designated the official State song of Illinois. The words and music of the song are set forth at Laws 1925, pages 602 and 603, and are incorporated into this Section by reference.
