Terms Used In Illinois Compiled Statutes 615 ILCS 30/27

  • State: when applied to different parts of the United States, may be construed to include the District of Columbia and the several territories, and the words "United States" may be construed to include the said district and territories. See Illinois Compiled Statutes 5 ILCS 70/1.14
     All fines and penalties herein provided for may be recovered in the name of the People of the State of Illinois and, when collected, shall be paid to the Department of Natural Resources and by it paid into the State treasury as other revenues of the canal.
