Terms Used In Illinois Compiled Statutes 620 ILCS 45/14

  • County board: means the board of county commissioners in counties not under township organization, and the board of supervisors in counties under township organization, and the board of commissioners of Cook County. See Illinois Compiled Statutes 5 ILCS 70/1.07
  • Heretofore: means any time previous to the day on which the statute takes effect; and the word "hereafter" at any time after such day. See Illinois Compiled Statutes 5 ILCS 70/1.17
     It shall not be necessary for the governing body of the county or other taxing district to submit to the legal voters of such taxing district the question of issuing such bonds where the final maturity thereof is within the maturity limitation heretofore mentioned in Section 13 of this Act, and the County Board or governing body of a taxing district may issue such bonds without complying with the provisions of Section 13 of this Act by adopting a resolution as provided in Section 16 hereof.
