Terms Used In Illinois Compiled Statutes 620 ILCS 65/30
- State: when applied to different parts of the United States, may be construed to include the District of Columbia and the several territories, and the words "United States" may be construed to include the said district and territories. See Illinois Compiled Statutes 5 ILCS 70/1.14
It is declared to be the law of this State, pursuant to paragraph (h) of Section 6 of Article VII of the Illinois Constitution, that the regulation and supervision of the City of Chicago’s implementation of the O’Hare Modernization Program is an exclusive State function that may not be exercised concurrently by any unit of local government.
