- Board: means the governing and administrative body of the Springfield Metropolitan Exposition and Auditorium Authority. See Illinois Compiled Statutes 70 ILCS 200/255-5
- Jurisdiction: (1) The legal authority of a court to hear and decide a case. Concurrent jurisdiction exists when two courts have simultaneous responsibility for the same case. (2) The geographic area over which the court has authority to decide cases.
Any bidder who has submitted a bid in compliance with the requirements for bidding under this Article may bring a civil action in equity in any court of competent jurisdiction in Sangamon County to compel compliance with the provisions of this Article relating to the awarding of contracts by the Board.
