Terms Used In Illinois Compiled Statutes 70 ILCS 2805/15

  • Contract: A legal written agreement that becomes binding when signed.
  • Heretofore: means any time previous to the day on which the statute takes effect; and the word "hereafter" at any time after such day. See Illinois Compiled Statutes 5 ILCS 70/1.17
     And in all other respects such contract shall be entered into and the performance thereof controlled by the provisions of Division 2 of Article 9 of the “Illinois Municipal Code”, approved May 29, 1961, as heretofore and hereafter amended. Provided, that the contracts may be let for making proper and suitable connections between the mains and outlets of the respective sewers in said district with any conduit, conduits, main pipe or pipes that may be constructed by such sanitary district.
