Terms Used In Illinois Compiled Statutes 70 ILCS 405/3.17

  • State: when applied to different parts of the United States, may be construed to include the District of Columbia and the several territories, and the words "United States" may be construed to include the said district and territories. See Illinois Compiled Statutes 5 ILCS 70/1.14
     “Board” means the State Soil and Water Conservation Districts Advisory Board appointed under Section 4 of this Act with which the Department and the soil and water conservation district respectively consult and advise with regard to the erosion and sediment control provisions of this Act.
