In addition to the supervisory duties set forth in Sections 25 and 26, the pretrial services agency shall continuously monitor the conduct and circumstances of supervised persons before trial and submit reports to the court, defendant and defendant’s attorney of record, and prosecuting officer whenever:
     (a) Apparent violations of other conditions imposed by the court under the uniform release order have occurred; or

  • Defendant: In a civil suit, the person complained against; in a criminal case, the person accused of the crime.
  • Trial: A hearing that takes place when the defendant pleads "not guilty" and witnesses are required to come to court to give evidence.

     (b) Modification of the uniform release order and conditions thereof are deemed in the best interests of either the accused or the community.
