Terms Used In Illinois Compiled Statutes 815 ILCS 5/2.15

  • State: when applied to different parts of the United States, may be construed to include the District of Columbia and the several territories, and the words "United States" may be construed to include the said district and territories. See Illinois Compiled Statutes 5 ILCS 70/1.14
     “Investment fund shares” means securities issued by persons known as “investment funds” or “investment companies” or “investment trusts” but such term shall not include securities issued by persons not within the intent of this Section as the Secretary of State may designate by rules and regulations or order.
