Sec. 10. Each interstate wholesaler shall keep a record of each sale of special fireworks. This record must include:

(1) the purchaser’s name;

  • Interstate wholesaler: means a person who is engaged in interstate commerce selling fireworks. See Indiana Code 22-11-14-1
  • Special fireworks: means fireworks designed primarily to produce visible or audible effects by combustion, deflagration, or detonation, including firecrackers containing more than one hundred thirty (130) milligrams of explosive composition, aerial shells containing more than forty (40) grams of pyrotechnic composition, and other exhibition display items that exceed the limits for classification as consumer fireworks. (2) the purchaser’s address; and

(3) the date of the sale.

These records shall be kept for three (3) years and be available for inspection by the fire marshal.
