- Guardian: A person legally empowered and charged with the duty of taking care of and managing the property of another person who because of age, intellect, or health, is incapable of managing his (her) own affairs.
Sec. 1. Juvenile courts situated in adjacent counties may establish joint or multiple county guardian ad litem or court appointed special advocate services to carry out IC 31-34 and IC 31-37.
