Sec. 7. (a) This section applies to Lake County.
(1) The county purchasing agency.
(b) The county executive shall have jurisdiction over both of the following, which were previously under the jurisdiction of the legislative body of the county:

- Jurisdiction: (1) The legal authority of a court to hear and decide a case. Concurrent jurisdiction exists when two courts have simultaneous responsibility for the same case. (2) The geographic area over which the court has authority to decide cases.
(2) The county data processing agency.
