§ 31-25-5-2 Ombudsman access to records and facilities

  • department: refers to the department of child services established by IC 31-25-1-1. See Indiana Code 31-25-2-1
  • Jurisdiction: (1) The legal authority of a court to hear and decide a case. Concurrent jurisdiction exists when two courts have simultaneous responsibility for the same case. (2) The geographic area over which the court has authority to decide cases.
  • ombudsman: refers to the office of the department of child services ombudsman established within the Indiana department of administration by IC 4-13-19-3. See Indiana Code 31-25-5-1
