Terms Used In Iowa Code 12.77
- state: when applied to the different parts of the United States, includes the District of Columbia and the territories, and the words "United States" may include the said district and territories. See Iowa Code 4.1
Section 12.71, Code 2020, and sections 12.72 through 12.76, being necessary for the welfare of this state and its inhabitants, shall be liberally construed to effect the purposes of the sections.
