Terms Used In Iowa Code 165.29
- Board: means the Iowa grain indemnity fund board created in section 203D. See Iowa Code 203D.1
- Owner: shall mean the person holding record title to real estate to include both legal and equitable interests under recorded real estate contracts. See Iowa Code 172D.1
Before any action is commenced under section 165.27, upon request of the secretary of agriculture, the board of supervisors of any county shall cause such owner to be served with a written notice of the provisions of this chapter, at least fifteen days before the commencement of the action.
