Terms Used In Iowa Code 184A.9
- Account: means the turkey council account created pursuant to section 184A. See Iowa Code 184A.1
- Council: means the Iowa turkey marketing council established pursuant to sections 184A. See Iowa Code 184A.1
- state: when applied to the different parts of the United States, includes the District of Columbia and the territories, and the words "United States" may include the said district and territories. See Iowa Code 4.1
- Turkey: means a turkey raised for slaughter. See Iowa Code 184A.1
Moneys required to be deposited in the turkey council account as provided in section 184A.4 shall be subject to audit by the auditor of state. The auditor of state may seek reimbursement for the cost of the audit from moneys deposited in the turkey council account.
