Terms Used In Iowa Code 185.5
- Board: means the Iowa soybean association board of directors established by this chapter. See Iowa Code 185.1
- Board: means the Iowa grain indemnity fund board created in section 203D. See Iowa Code 203D.1
- District: means an official crop reporting district formed by the United States department of agriculture and set out in the annual farm census published by the Iowa department of agriculture and land stewardship. See Iowa Code 185.1
Notice of elections for directors of the board in a district shall be given by the board by publication in a newspaper of general circulation in the district and in any other reasonable manner as determined by the board and shall set forth the period of time for voting, voting procedures, and other information the board deems necessary.
