Terms Used In Iowa Code 222.70
- Department: means the department of human services. See Iowa Code 222.2
- person: means individual, corporation, limited liability company, government or governmental subdivision or agency, business trust, estate, trust, partnership or association, or any other legal entity. See Iowa Code 4.1
- Special unit: means a special intellectual disability unit established at a state mental health institute pursuant to sections 222. See Iowa Code 222.2
If a dispute arises between counties or between the department and a county as to the residency of a person admitted to a resource center or a special unit, the dispute shall be resolved as provided in section 331.394.
