Terms Used In Iowa Code 222.90
- resource centers: means the Glenwood state resource center and the Woodward state resource center. See Iowa Code 222.2
- Special unit: means a special intellectual disability unit established at a state mental health institute pursuant to sections 222. See Iowa Code 222.2
- Superintendents: means the superintendents of the state resource centers. See Iowa Code 222.2
The director shall appoint a qualified superintendent of the special unit. The superintendent shall employ all staff personnel to be assigned specifically to the special unit, and shall have the same duties with respect to the special unit as are imposed upon superintendents of resource centers by section 222.4.
