Terms Used In Iowa Code 422.41

  • Appeal: A request made after a trial, asking another court (usually the court of appeals) to decide whether the trial was conducted properly. To make such a request is "to appeal" or "to take an appeal." One who appeals is called the appellant.
 All the provisions of sections 422.28, 422.29, and 422.30 of subchapter II in respect to revision, appeal, and jeopardy assessments shall be applicable to corporations taxable under this subchapter.
