Commencement.
The existence of a cooperative shall commence on or after the filing of articles of organization as provided in section 501A.503.
Terms Used In Iowa Code 501A.505
- Articles: means the articles of organization of a cooperative as originally filed or subsequently amended as provided in this chapter. See Iowa Code 501A.102
- Cooperative: means a business association organized under this chapter. See Iowa Code 501A.102

Duration.
A cooperative shall have a perpetual duration unless the cooperative provides for a limited period of duration in the articles or the cooperative is dissolved as provided in subchapter XII.
