507F.8 Cybersecurity event — notification to consumers.
1. In the event of a cybersecurity event involving nonpublic information a licensee shall comply with the notification requirements pursuant to § 715C.2, and all other applicable notification requirements pursuant to federal or state law.
2. If a licensee is required to provide notice of a cybersecurity event to the commissioner pursuant to § 507F.7, subsection 1, the licensee shall submit to the commissioner a copy of the consumer notices provided by the licensee to consumers under this section.
