Terms Used In Iowa Code 714E.8

  • person: means individual, corporation, limited liability company, government or governmental subdivision or agency, business trust, estate, trust, partnership or association, or any other legal entity. See Iowa Code 4.1
  • Remainder: An interest in property that takes effect in the future at a specified time or after the occurrence of some event, such as the death of a life tenant.
714E.8 Provisions severable.
If any provision of sections 714E.2 through 714E.7 and 714E.9 or the application of any of
these provisions to any person or circumstance is held to be unconstitutional and void, the remainder of sections 714E.2 through 714E.7 and 714E.9 remains valid.
