Terms Used In Kansas Statutes 12-4906
- City: means any incorporated city in the state of Kansas;
(b) "home for the aged" means a building or buildings and the appurtenances to be used as a home for aged persons, and such other persons as the governing body of the city shall direct and shall include adult care homes;
(c) "adult care home" shall have the meaning ascribed thereto under Kan. See Kansas Statutes 12-4901
The governing body of any city which has established or acquired a home for the aged under the authority of this act is hereby authorized to make an annual tax levy for the maintenance and repair of the home and to pay a portion of the principal and interest on bonds issued by such city under the authority of Kan. Stat. Ann. § 12-1774, and amendments thereto.
