Terms Used In Kansas Statutes 19-3551
- District: means the water supply district organized pursuant to this act; "board" means the board of county commissioners of Johnson county; "general manager" means the general manager of the water supply district appointed by the board as provided in this act; "county" means Johnson county, Kansas. See Kansas Statutes 19-3522
- State: when applied to the different parts of the United States, includes the District of Columbia and the territories. See Kansas Statutes 77-201
The district shall be subject to the budget and cash basis laws of the state, and the governing body shall meet as often as the needs of the district require. The governing body shall cause to be made an annual audit of the financial records of the district, in accordance with Kan. Stat. Ann. § 75-1117 et seq. and amendments thereto, the cost of said audit to be paid by the district.
