Terms Used In Kansas Statutes 19-4811

  • Chief judge: The judge who has primary responsibility for the administration of a court but also decides cases; chief judges are determined by seniority.
  • Property: includes personal and real property. See Kansas Statutes 77-201
  • State: when applied to the different parts of the United States, includes the District of Columbia and the territories. See Kansas Statutes 77-201

The chief judge shall, annually, cause to be compiled a report of the property crime compensation fund or funds existing within such judicial district and forward such report to the office of judicial administration by the first day of December of the year beginning the next full year after implementation of such local program. The office of judicial administration shall compile such reports submitted by chief judges, and send a composite report annually to the governor and the state legislature.
