- Remainder: An interest in property that takes effect in the future at a specified time or after the occurrence of some event, such as the death of a life tenant.
Should any section or sections or part or parts of any section of this act be declared unconstitutional or void, the remainder of the act shall not thereby be invalidated, but shall be and remain in full force and effect.
