The proceeds from any sale or sales of surplus real estate conducted pursuant to provisions of Kan. Stat. Ann. §§ 3-142 and 3-143, shall be deposited in the respective general or airport funds of said cities as their interests shall appear and as their respective governing bodies shall direct.
