Terms Used In Kansas Statutes 66-1315

  • Conviction: A judgement of guilt against a criminal defendant.

(a) Any person violating any of the provisions of Kan. Stat. Ann. § 66-1,139 or 66-1,140, and amendments thereto, shall upon conviction be guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be fined: (1) For a first conviction of one or more violations of any such statutes, not more than $500 for each such conviction; and (2) for a second or subsequent conviction of one or more violations of any such statutes, within two years thereafter, not more than $1,000 for each such conviction.

(b) Any person violating Kan. Stat. Ann. § 66-1314, and amendments thereto, shall pay a fine in accordance with Kan. Stat. Ann. § 8-2118, and amendments thereto.
