Terms Used In Kansas Statutes 66-1326

  • Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
  • State: when applied to the different parts of the United States, includes the District of Columbia and the territories. See Kansas Statutes 77-201

The secretary of revenue, the secretary of transportation, the superintendent of the Kansas highway patrol and the state corporation commission are hereby authorized, empowered and instructed to enter into any contracts or agreements appropriate to establish centralized issuance of any or all permits and licenses provided for by Kan. Stat. Ann. § 8-1911, and amendments thereto, and by this act. The heads of such agencies shall enter into any contracts or agreements necessary to provide for a centralized coordinating authority for the issuance of licenses and permits provided in this act and in Kan. Stat. Ann. § 8-1911, and amendments thereto.
