Under the Kansas Statutes, punishments for crimes depend on the classification. In the case of this section:| Class | Prison | Fine |
|---|---|---|
| class B misdemeanor | up to 6 months | up to $1,000 |
| class C misdemeanor | up to 1 month | up to $500 |
Any person who violates any of the provisions of this act shall be deemed guilty of a class C misdemeanor for the first offense, and a class B misdemeanor for the second or subsequent offense.
