Terms Used In Kansas Statutes 75-3506

  • public officer: means any officer, board, commission or agency of the state. See Kansas Statutes 75-3505
  • State: when applied to the different parts of the United States, includes the District of Columbia and the territories. See Kansas Statutes 77-201

Any public officer of the state may cause any or all records, papers or documents kept by the public officer to be photographed, microphotographed, reproduced on film or optical disc. Such photographic film or optical disc shall comply with standards recommended by the state archivist and approved by the state records board pursuant to Kan. Stat. Ann. § 45-412, and amendments thereto, and the device used to reproduce such records on such film or optical disc shall be one which accurately reproduces the original thereof in all details.
