Terms Used In Kansas Statutes 82a-953a

  • Fiscal year: The fiscal year is the accounting period for the government. For the federal government, this begins on October 1 and ends on September 30. The fiscal year is designated by the calendar year in which it ends; for example, fiscal year 2006 begins on October 1, 2005 and ends on September 30, 2006.
  • State: when applied to the different parts of the United States, includes the District of Columbia and the territories. See Kansas Statutes 77-201

During each fiscal year, the director of accounts and reports shall transfer $6,000,000 from the state general fund to the state water plan fund created by Kan. Stat. Ann. § 82a-951, and amendments thereto, 1/2 of such amount to be transferred on July 15 and 1/2 to be transferred on January 15. During the fiscal year ending June 30, 2022, the transfer shall not exceed $4,005,632.
