Any payments necessary to discharge any financial obligations imposed upon the State of Kentucky by the compact, as provided in KRS § 224.18-200, shall be made from the general fund appropriations to the Interstate Air Pollution Control Commission upon presentation to the Finance and Administration Cabinet of itemized vouchers signed by the secretary of the Energy and Environment Cabinet.

  • Air pollution: means the presence in the outdoor atmosphere of one (1) or more air contaminants in sufficient quantities and of such characteristics and duration as is or threatens to be injurious to human, plant, or animal life, or to property, or which unreasonably interferes with the comfortable enjoyment of life or property.   • Cabinet: means the Energy and Environment Cabinet. See Kentucky Statutes 224.1-010
  • Secretary: means the secretary of the Energy and Environment Cabinet. See Kentucky Statutes 224.1-010
  • State: when applied to a part of the United States, includes territories, outlying possessions, and the District of Columbia. See Kentucky Statutes 446.010
