When the Transportation Cabinet provides engineering or related services for a federal highway project pursuant to 23 U.S.C. § 112(b)(2), the Transportation Cabinet shall follow the process established in KRS § 45A.800 to KRS § 45A.835 as the only alternative to the process established in federal law.
