Terms Used In Louisiana Revised Statutes 3:4632
- Basket: means a one and one-half bushel circular container that may be used for the measurement of oysters to be sold or purchased. See Louisiana Revised Statutes 3:4602
- Commissioner: means the commissioner of the Department of Agriculture and Forestry, or his duly authorized representatives acting at his discretion. See Louisiana Revised Statutes 3:4602
Each basket may be inspected by the commissioner as provided for in Part I of Chapter 30 of Title 3 and the accuracy of the measure stamped thereon.
