Terms Used In Louisiana Revised Statutes 30:2351.8

  • Certificate: means :

                (a) With regard to a person engaged in a lead hazard reduction activity, a document issued by the secretary, or under the authority of the secretary, affirming that the person successfully has completed the training and other requirements for lead hazard reduction activities. See Louisiana Revised Statutes 30:2351.1

  • Secretary: means the secretary of the Department of Environmental Quality. See Louisiana Revised Statutes 30:2351.1

A.  The secretary shall establish standards for accreditation of training providers under this Chapter, including provisions for training program quality control.  The secretary shall issue a certificate of accreditation to training providers that meet the secretary’s accreditation standard and pay the accreditation fee provided in La. Rev. Stat. 30:2351.59.  The certificate of accreditation shall identify specifically the categories for which the training provider is accredited.

B.  Training providers shall be accredited for all categories for which they qualify.
