Terms Used In Louisiana Revised Statutes 40:1213.1

  • Cholesterol screening: means determining the cholesterol level present in a person's blood by analyzing a drop of blood taken from him by means of a fingerstick sample. See Louisiana Revised Statutes 40:1213.2

            It is a public policy of the state to promote the health, welfare, and safety of the people of this state by attempting to ensure high standards for cholesterol screening by mobile cholesterol screening units.
