A. No person shall intentionally transfer or assign a certificate of title for a motor vehicle if the person knows that the certificate of title has been recalled and revoked pursuant to La. Rev. Stat. 40:1322.
B. Whoever violates the provisions of this Section shall be imprisoned for not more than six months, or fined not more than five hundred dollars, or both.
